I was interested to hear of Ravenstonedale's revival, in a report on National Public Radio this morning. I lived by the bridge over the Rawthey many years ago, and fond memories came flooding back.
There was an article earlier this year on Raven Frankland's drystone walling in Cornerstone, the magazine of the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings, and it might be possible to obtain permission to scan and reproduce it on the site.
More generally, it would be good to see well researched articles on the history of the parish, covering topics accessible from local and national archives, such as the influence of the Lords Wharton, the Quaker meeting, and crime in the parish.
