Needlehouse, Fell End
While researching my family's connection with Needlehouse, Fell End, Ravenstonedale, I came across your reference to the place.
My ancestor, Robert Thompson, a farmer (born 1810, died 1877) apparently lived at Needlehouse between at least 1841 and 1871, according to the censuses. He and his wife, Agnes (nee Davies) had ten children, two at their previous home, Kiln Haw, Garsdale, and the rest at Needlehouse from 1834, so they family must have been there before the 1841 census.
The family were members of the Society of Friends (Quakers).
I apologise for bothering you, but if you have any material which might assist my quest, I should be most grateful.
With best wishes
