Friends of St Oswald's held a Summer Ball in Ravenstonedale on bank holiday Monday 27th August 2012 to raise funds for the upkeep of the church.
The ball was held in a marquee kindly donated by Alan and Hilary Law. £4,500 was raised thanks to the hard work of the organisers.
