This annual extravaganza organised by the Ravenstonedale Yacht Club took place on May 1st 2000. In the main event children and others race round the village powered in a manner determined by the Yacht Club. This year it was Tall Ships, last year it was cars and the year before it was rockets. There is a full programme of events throughout the day culminating with a lively barn dance and barbeque outside the King's Head.
The Ships: Hammer & Tongs, HMS Pinafore, Good Ship Lollipop, HMS Bimbo, Math One, HMS Dorothy Comm, Mog & Mate, Bleaflatts Banana Boat, HMS Dumbo.
