All events were cancelled from mid March because of COVID-19
Happily, The Fat Lamb and the Black Swan re-opened as soon as they were allowed to on 4th July.
The Kings Head, which has been sadly closed for over a year, re-opened on 1st August under new ownership.
Tourists have started to return to B&B’s and Camp Sites as they re-open.
The Golf Course and Tennis Court are open and we have the magnificent and easily accessible Howgill Fells on our doorstep.

Although the church was closed, we joined together with other churches in Upper Eden on Zoom. (We’ve all improved our technology skills)
Services at St Oswald’s will recommence in August with strict social distancing.
Sunday 2nd - 10am All-Age Worship
Sunday 9th - 10am Holy Communion
Sunday 16th - 3pm Evening Prayer
Sunday 23rd - 10am Holy Communion by Extension
The church will also be open for private prayer on Wednesdays 2 - 4pm but will remain locked at all other times.
There will be Zoom Benefice Service on Sunday 30th August.
There will be a Zoom Coffee morning with a Christian flavour at 11am each Sunday for those who are still shielding and unable to get to church.
